Watch videos of panel discussions at our 2026 conference discussing a human rights approach to modern slavery.
In April 2026, we held a conference to discuss a human rights approach to modern slavery. We were beyond grateful to everyone who came, contributed, discussed, and listened. The energy and quality of conversations showed how important it is for us all to keep exploring these vital issues together with honesty and care, but also with critical questioning and an eye on the future. We had panels with an array of experts and perspectives to discuss topics including:
- what it means to take a survivor-centred approach to addressing modern slavery in the UK
- the role of the newly established Fair Work Agency in labour market regulation
- business and human rights in a time of upheaval
- looking at the next 15 years of a National Referral Mechanism
